US students build ultra-light car that drives 2,145 miles per gallon

A lightweight three-wheeled vehicle designed by students at Brigham Young University (BYU) stunned competitors last month at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway after recording an astonishing 2,145 miles per gallon during the Shell Eco-marathon Americas competition.
