CDC announces immediate restriction on travellers from certain countries over Ebola fears

CDC, the suspension is only temporary and is currently set to remain in effect for 30 days while the CDC completes a public health risk assessment and coordinates mitigation measures with partner agencies.

It is hoped that by putting the restrictions in place they can limit the risk of introducing Ebola to the US public.
